Description
This piece was painted for the “Call of The Morrigan Oracle” and the card is called “Raven”.
For me this image of the Raven by her nest is working with the power of the great mother. The nest is the cauldron, the womb, a portal holding the universe, stars, nebula, the dust from which all has been and will be born.
The Raven stands guard over all. She decorates the nest with gathered treasures of man. They dangle and gleam on the outside, in order to distract from the shining, hidden treasure within. All around fly her brethren they cry to each other.
